Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you may know, Marion my Stepmum was diagnosed with Cancer in March 2011 and in March 2012 she lost her brave battle with the illness.
Macmillan were there every step of the way from diagnosis, throughout all her treatment. My gratitude lies specifically to the Macmillan nursing team who treated Marion and all of our family with such wonderful care & compassion, and helped to ensure that she made her final journey with dignity and how she wanted it to be, at home with her family around her. For this I am eternally grateful.
I wanted to raise money for them in order to ensure I can play a small part in making sure that Macmillan are there to support other people throughout their illness. Although, this feels like such a small drop in the ocean for the funds they need to provide this support.
So come October I will be donning my running gear a taking part in the Great South Run...the whole 10miles eeep! With a few of the fellow Bradley's and partners. So please, please dig deep...Macmillan provide an invaluable service to people affected by Cancer.
