Hi I’m Amelie and with the help of my bestie Esme and my family and friends this Christmas we hope to raise £1000 for the homeless Charity Porchlight.  

Because its coming upto Christmas and its freezing cold and everyone is buying presents I wanted to raise money and give a present back to people who may not have a home this winter or struggling to get back on their feet.

Did you know that 1 in around 201 people are currently homeless and there are now 320,000 people  homeless in the UK and the numbers keep rising. 

We  have decided to hold a sponsored  Bikeathon outside the Tenterden Town hall on Saturday 14^thDecember.  Hopefully with the help of family and friends we are going to keep a bike constantly cycling for a whole 8 hours.  We know we can do it, we have been training and we really  REALLY want to raise money for Porchlight.

Money raised could pay for th following:

£5 could pay for a cost of a call for someone in crises 

£25 could pay for a basic provision pack for someone moving into much needed accommodation
