Stargardt's Disease is an inherited progressive condition that affects the retina. It causes blurring of vision and problems in seeing fine details such as recognising faces and reading a book. Please donate to help raise awareness, give support and to fund research to find treatments and a cure.

Story

Late last year I was diagnosed with stardgarts disease. I went to my opticians for a regular checkup where they saw something that shouldn’t be there. From there on in it was appointments with professionals and specialists to figure out what it was. I was then diagnosed with the disease and since then I have been working through such a difficult thing. For both me and my family this was a very difficult time and a very difficult subject to come to terms with.

2nd October, my mum ran the London marathon in order to raise awareness for this disease. Since being diagnosed we have realised how little research there is and how little knowledge to the disease. It is such a rare disease and therefore there just isn’t enough out there.

It would mean so much to me and my family if you could donate to this cause. Thank you so much ❤️💛
