This next May I’l be trekking to an altitude of 4,200m to the lost city of the Incras, Machu Picchu. The days on the challenge will be long, facilities will be basic and conditions tough. Parts of the trek are above the clouds with difficult air conditions and very small paths.. Amber the mountain goat is here to help. So if anyone wants to see me without my lipstick looking like the Stig of the dump you better sponsor me.

On a serious note though:

Cancer has nearly affected everyone I know one way or another. Many of you who know me know this won’t be an easy challenge as I was born with a foot condition which affects my ankle, limps and back but compared to what I’ve seen and still seeing people beat, challenge and go through this is bloody peanuts people. I lost my best friend to lung cancer, she was my guide through life and helped me grow to the person that I am today, so for this I wanted to return the favour and hopefully she will be looking down on me, sweating, feeling sorry for myself and properly wanting a double cheeseburger after 12 hours a day walking.

I’l be making flags with names on and taking them up Machu Picchu so if anyone wants me to make one and take one up with me I will for a sponsorship of 5 pounds and take a photo of them at the top.
