I have done a few challenges the last few years but decided it is time to try something new and go "ultra distance"!! So in a moment of madness I have entered the Lakeland 50 which is on Saturday 26th July 2014!! All that stands before me and the finish line is 50 miles of fell running, 9729 feet of ascent and 10069 feet of descent which I hope to complete in around 16 hours!! Yikes!
