My darling husband, Andrew Robert Ryder was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic kidney cancer in the height of lockdown 2020. His prognosis was poor; just 2 years. He had a very aggressive cancer, papillary renal cancer type 2  

THERE IS NO CURE! 

Kidney cancer is “sneaky” with many people receiving a diagnosis when the disease is already advanced. 

Andrew fought hard and was brave and courageous throughout, yet sadly had no energy left to defeat the cancer. He died on 2nd January, 2023 leaving 3 children behind.

His legacy was to continue to fight the disease by fundraising. More research is required and clinical trials. More specialist psychotherapists who comprehend the meaning of  this cruel disease  

Andrew will always be remembered and leaves a huge void in our lives.
