Story
Hello Everyone
I am setting myself a huge physical and mental challenge in October of this year. I am setting off on a 10 day trek in the Crater Highland and Rift Valley landscapes of Tanzania.
A close friend said to me ‘ as actors we live our lives with ‘what ifs’ ?.....'Make it happen!’

The terrain is varied rough and steep. The temperature is hot by day and cold at night and as we are trekking at 3000 metres much of the time the weather will be changeable. Day by day living conditions will be basic and it is difficult to give an accurate idea of daily distance because of the terrain and lack of accurate maps but most days we will be trekking for 7 hours at least.
I am in training and building up my fitness strength and stamina carefully in the months leading up to my Tanzanian Trek for Leukaemia. My Jack Russell Alfie is a willing pace setter for long walks at the moment. However I shall have to up my game and a training weekend in Snowdonia beckons!
About the charitywww.leukaemiacancersociety.org
My chosen charity raises money devoted to the recruitment of volunteer bone marrow/stem cell donors, research education and patient care.
It is dedicated to ensuring that more people with blood cancer can survive, have the best possible quality of life and that their families and carers get the support they need.
2014 marks the charity’s 20th Year
The Charity is funded entirely by public money and your donation will make a real difference to its vital work and to help save lives.
Please sponsor me. I’m aiming to raise £3000
Thank you
