I am not a runner, and in fact I hate running.  Even more so after my recent 225 mile bike ride to Braintree left my knee in a bad way, and I haven't been able to do much running since!

However, the chairman of Altrincham FC convinced me to take part in the run, and to raise funds for a great charity which is giving so much back to the local community in terms of providing access to sporting activities for all.

To this end, I have organised a team of volunteers and supporters from the football club's fan base and back room staff, to run in a 4-4-2 formation, and I am promoting the race through the club's various media challenges.  Please donate as you can through this page.
