Story
It has been 10 years since Mum left us, and so it seemed fitting to do something positive to mark this anniversary.
My daughter Susannah turns 10 in July - born just 2 months later and so never met Mum. As an expectant parent, I was really looking forward to watching Mum spoil her, teach her rude words and 'feed her bubble gum' - a tale she used to tell about her own grandfather. 'Granny' features regularly in our home life, to the point where I sometimes forget they didn't actually meet. Even now, stories of Mum 'hooting' with laughter make us laugh ourselves - there is nothing better than hearing the belly laugh of your children.
In her memory, I invite you to pass on the laughter that she was so good at generating in kids - by supporting this charity - dedicated to helping kids affected by conflict or natural disasters through laughter and play - what could be more appropriate, right?
Thank you all for reading this, and any and all contributions made in Mum's name for this awesome cause.
