The financial impacts of coronavirus are going to be long lasting and, for thousands, this pandemic will be the tipping point into financial crisis.
1 in 5 adults in the UK has less than £100 in savings.
38% of clients’ debt is priority debts like rent, Council Tax and utility bills.
1.4million people have claimed for Universal Credit since mid-March – seven times the usual rate.
200,000 people have claimed JSA or ESA since mid-March.
We need to respond now to make sure CAP can be there for them when they call.
➡️ £136 could get one client through to having a complete debt solution in place, ready to start on their road to becoming debt free
➡️ £40.50 could cover the cost of setting up two clients’ plans so expert teams can build their budget and begin work on their case
➡️ £23 could ensure they can answer the phone to two people, speaking hope into despair, giving valuable advice and help
