I want to use my circumstances in a positive way, so hopefully each time someone thinks of me, they will donate to a Breast Cancer charity. I have a long journey ahead of me and if anyone is thinking of sending me a card or a gift, please don't!  Please give to charity instead.

Coppafeel is a fabulous organisation that helps raise awareness in younger women.  As a woman in my 50's, with a daughter in her 20's,  I feel that younger woman don't have the advantages of screening etc, so awareness is even more important.  But it also has a lot of very useful information for women of any age, including a free reminder to check your boobs!!
