NASS is only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting people with axial spondyloarthritis (AS), a painful, progressive rheumatic disease which mainly affects the spine. An estimated 200,000 people live with AS in the UK. Our 90+ branches across the UK offer regular exercise to anyone with AS.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Gym Buddies and I are completeing a Sprint Triathalon on Saturday 12 July 2014 at the David Lloyd Gym, 32 length swim, 20 kilometre bike ride and a 5 kilometre walk/run (I will be completing half the distance of the walk due to having physical difficulties myself).

We are raising money for the National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society (NASS). Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) is a severe form of arthritis which mainly affects the lower back but other joints and parts of the body can be affected also.

I lost my David, my husband and soul mate, who suffered from AS in 2006 and I know he would be proud of what we are trying to do.

So any donations, big or small, would be greatly appreciated as we will be donating the money to research in to this illness, so that in the future other people do not have to suffer.
