Hi everyone.

As most of you will know, I am a keen animal lover and therefore am participating in the Mayhew's "Abseiling for Animals" event next weekend. 

All of our past cats (including Mickey and Bugsy) have been from the Mayhew and we love our current cats, Teena and Milo, who we rescued from the Mayhew.

Teena was rescued off the streets and brought into the Mayhew where they trained her to be a therapy cat for the elderly. We adopted her from there 4 years ago. Milo was adopted last December having been born to a mother who was unable to support him. Both cats are now crucial and important members of our family.

We have been associated with the Mayhew for around 15 years, and I am so keen to raise as much money as possible for such a wonderful and worthwhile cause.

Mayhew's animal welfare preventative work encourages people to change their attitudes and behaviours towards animals in a positive way. Over the last 17 years we have been leaders in community focused projects that work to address causes of animal neglect, cruelty abandonment and overpopulation.
