Hey everyone! Thanks for visiting our Just Giving page. This is a page set up to show our love and support to our very best friend Sophie and those heroes who are working hard to get her better and destroy the dreaded C. Sophie is 25 and has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The horrible disease that 31 people are diagnosed with in the UK every single day. On the 18th June our best friends world was completely shaken around and turned upside down so this charity is very close to our heart. From the moment Sophie got her diagnosis, nothing has been negative or downbeat, its only ever been positivity and strength from our girl so that is why we are trying to give back. So, what are we going to do? Shave our heads of course! On the 29th August, we are going to get the clippers out and put a middle finger up to cancer. We hope to achieve 3 things. Firstly, show support to our incredible, strong and wonderful best friend. We are standing with her every step of the way and so she knows, if/when she loses her hair, do not worry, we are bald too! Secondly, raise awareness......girls (and boys) please check your boobs!! and thirdly, raise money to give something back to the absolute heroes and wonderful charity that's looking after our Soph. All of our hair will be donated to The Little Princess Trust to go on and make wigs to the little fighters during their awful time so it will not be wasted. The time and place of The Big Shave is TBC as we would love for our nearest and dearest to come along and show support, but we will keep you all updated.
