Story
Turns out it is pretty hard to keep a short-hair hairstyle neat in lockdown. However, it’s 100 times harder to provide the basics for your family when reduced hours, business closures and illness shrink an already fragile household income.
I am lucky enough to be a volunteer for Little Village, a family poverty charity which supports some of the most vulnerable families in London. I am asking you to recognise my (uncharacteristic) lapse in vanity by donating to the Little Village campaign so that they can pour all their efforts into distributing emergency bundles of the essentials - nappies, wipes, clothes, blankets and hygiene products - to struggling families
Little Village is an incredible organisation and is in a unique position to be able to reach the families who need this support, working with over 1100 professionals such as midwives, health visitors and other grassroots charities.
I promise you that every penny I raise will help Little Village to help families through this very tough time.
