"Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head Appeal" · 11 September 2021

We provide funding for Devon’s churches to enable fabric repairs & refurbishment

Story

Setting off at that magical time just before it is light and finishing at the day's end when night gently appears, we will be putting our best feet forward to walk/amble/trudge and finally stagger the lanes and byways of mid-Devon in aid of the St Matthew's "Raindrops Keep Falling on our Head Appeal" and the Devon Historic Churches Trust.

50% of funds raised from the miles covered from this event through sponsorship, and from refreshments served in St Matthew's between 10am - 4pm on the day, will go towards making the church roof watertight, protecting the church building to ensure its future: a church in the community and a church for the community. The other 50% will go to the Devon Historic Churches Trust for the invaluable support they give to churches through grants for repairs and building projects.

Thank you for your much appreciated support to help us achieve our rather cheeky £1000 target!

Best feet forward...
