I am taking on the Country Walking magazine Challenge to walk 1000 miles in 2021.  I am raising money for the Society of St James in memory of my brother, Richard, who would have turned 50 on 20th January this year.  Sadly, he died in 2000, but the Society of St James had really helped him to turn his life around.

The Society of St James is a Hampshire-based charity, providing a range of accommodation & support services to many people vulnerable to homelessness in the region.   They work with people who often have diverse & complex issues surrounding homelessness, including substance/alcohol addiction & mental health problems.  We will be eternally grateful for the support they gave Richard.
