We fund life-changing and life-saving work to support cancer patients at The Christie
Story
94 year-old Alfie Lamb is leading a charity challenge to cycle the 52 miles from Levenshulme to Blackpool on an exercise bike, to raise money for The Christie cancer research and treatment center.
Having recently received the exercise bike
following a Dragons’ Den style pitch event, Alfie decided to immediately put it to good use to raise money for
The Christie charity.
A Charity Fundraising Day to start the challenge will be held at West Point Lodge, Levenshulme, on Sunday 3 May
from 1.30pm until 5.30pm and the BBQ will be from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Everyone is welcome.
