We help people with spinal cord injury to transform their lives

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

Everyone who knew Kellie Donley, will know that it is her birthday on the 1st of August. Ever so sadly, they will also know that Kellie passed away on the 12th of December 2022 and has left such a huge hole in the hearts of so many people.

They will also know, that Kellie suffered a spinal cord injury in 2011 and had to come to terms with being a full time wheelchair user. Back Up are a charity that helped Kellie with this transition and also help thousands of people on a daily basis who have to come to terms with this life changing situation.

In honour of Kellie, Lucy and Alex want to take on a challenge on the 29th of July and raise some funds for a charity close to her heart. What better way than to jump out of a plane and fall 12,000 feet?! We are both a little apprehensive, but we can feel the courage Kellie showed dealing with her injury, giving us the strength to get up there and go for it. We are raising money for a very worthwhile charity and remembering such a beautiful and special wife/best friend.

Anything you can give will be very much appreciated.
