I will taking part in a 12 day expedition in Tanzania to ascend Mount Kilimanjaro with the British Expedition Company and I am raising money for Cancer Research UK through sponsorship. At almost 6000m, Kilimanjaro is the Africa's tallest mountain and is also the World's tallest freestanding mountain. The climb involves trekking through 4 seasons of weather including rainforest at the bottom and arctic conditions at the top. In addition I will be dressing up as a LION on the last two days of the ascent just to make it a bit more challenging and to give everyone else a bit of a laugh! Please help me raise as much money as I can because this is a fantastic cause.
