Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I'm riding in honour of my Grandfather for the Prudential RideLondon 100 in August.

My Grandfather loved cycling, keeping it up throughout his life and was a big inspiration for me to also take it up, in a little way after his story that at the age of 16 he cycled from London to John O' Groats with his best mate during his school summer holiday, for fun (yeah I know, for fun...). He sadly passed away on the 13th January 2014 from complications with pancreatic cancer, so I'm riding my first Sportive for him and Pancreatic Cancer UK in a bid to raise money for a good cause and hopefully edge ever closer to a cure.

I've never done anything like this before and it won't be an easy task, so I feel any donations will not only help my chosen charity, but also inspire me to keep pushing during my training to finish those 100 miles on the day in some what of a style (even if I'm crawling across the finish line, it still counts).

Any money you could give would be greatly appreciated and totally awesome, I will be setting up a website or blog to show what I'm up to and give everyone a chance to laugh at me while I struggle through training sessions, as long as it helps make a difference. Keep checking back here for updates and links once it's done.
