We restore and create wild spaces to make a better life for wildlife & people

Story

The Birmingham and the Black Country Wildlife Trust is a local charity working to protect the wildlife of Birmingham, Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.

The Trust works to conserve biodiversity, improve the environment and raise awareness and understanding of wildlife issues. They have over 7,000 members and have projects, nature reserves and environment centres across the area.

From Saturday 22nd October to Sunday 30th October it's the Trust's fourth Wild Walk Week. A great excuse to raise some vital funds for this important local cause and to get out and explore some of your local wild spaces!

I've recently become a member of BBCWT and (if members vote me in later in the month) will be joining the Board as a trustee.

I'd love your support in raising funds, any donation - small or large - will be very gratefully received.

Birmingham friends, if you donate you'll be invited to join me on one of my favourite walks around Sutton Park on 23rd October at 10am (no pressure to come!!)
