We raise funds at Nottingham to transform lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This June myself and 12 other academics and students from the Chemical and Environmental Engineering department at the University of Nottingham are undertaking a monumental challenge in trying to climb the three highest peaks in Britain within 24 hours. We have had two major training sessions so far (18mile in peak district and also the Yorkshire 3 peaks) in which I alone have lost both big toe nails. Some may say we are slightly mad (which we probably are) but the cause we are raising money for is a charity in which in some way will touch all of our lives at some point and is very important to all of us.

The Sue Ryder Care Centre for the Study of Supportive, Palliative, and End of Life Care based at the University of Nottingham is doing invaluable research into making life more comfortable during chronic or life threatening diseases which also helps carers during a difficult time. With your help and support we can help celebrate life even when time is short.

Please give as much as you can no matter how small to help create a better quality of life for so many people.
