Participants: c100 walkers will take on this challenge with us, from CEOs of care groups to managers, head office teams and front line care workers.
Story
There are nearly 2 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of Britain’s largest workforces, and caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
For care workers, early starts, long hours and mentally draining work are part and parcel of the job. As a result, it’s all too easy for illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, to push them beyond their financial limits.
As a country, we depend on our care workers to be there for us on our rainy day. The Care Workers Charity is there for them on theirs.
I'd really appreciate any donations you can make to help me reach my goal of £1,000. £1,000 will help 2-4 care workers and their families out of financial hardship and back on their feet.
