Having travelled to ACE in February 2016 and March 2017 I have seen first hand the incredible work they do.  I intend continue to support and visit the charity through my career. Please visit the centre's Facebook page for more details on the amazing work they do.

ACE (Animal Care in Egypt) is a charity dedicated to the community and its working animals which, since the revolution, have been severely affected by the dramatic decline in tourism.

Due to poor education, working animals can often suffer from neglect or mistreatment. In order to address this, the centre provides lessons for around 800 children during term time teaching basic animal husbandry. Veterinary facilities also allow for treatments ranging from basic wound management to surgery and overnight care for those animals in need. As the only centre in Egypt to provide free surgical procedures, ACE is an invaluable resource to the community.
