Story
We live in a materialistic day and age where people have become desensitized from the feeling that unfortunate people go through who are struggling for the bare necessities of life. There are many areas in the world where people on a daily basis are deprived of healthcare, clothing, shelter, food and safety and I want to be able to play a part in changing these conditions.
RDF Global is a non-profit charitable foundation established in 2006 which aims to provide maternity/ general healthcare and essential relief to the less fortunate people of Bangladesh.
As part of RDF my aim/ project is to head out to Bangladesh with a team of experienced and enthusiastic individuals with the mission of providing.
• Maternity Treatment - Giving life-saving healthcare for mothers and their new-born babies.
• Winter Blanket Distribution - Ensure people are equipped to deal with the winter cold in the most deprived areas.
• Soup Kitchen - Giving food and refreshments to the less fortunate and homeless which has already proven to be a huge success as we continue to help tackle the issue here in the UK.
• Eye Camp - Enabling adults and children to access sight restoring cataract surgery, including through outreach camps in remote places far from the nearest eye hospital.
• Rescue Shelter - provide urgent shelter for families that are homeless and living in dangerous/ harmful conditions.
• Safe Water/ Sanitation - providing pumps for clean water
Please join me and help by donating generously as every person we help and every life we save is only possible through your giving.
