I am doing a skydive in May 2012 to raise money for the charity 'When you wish upon a star' a chairty who grants wishes for children with life limiting and terminal illnesses.This charity has helped a family close to me for their daughter called Jasmine, who is 9 years old. She has irreversible heart and lung disease, and she is now on a venilator and oxygen 24 hours a day. She spent the first 4 years of her life in Alder Hey Childrens hospital, and 18 months in Intensive Care. She is a very happy little girl, and doesnt let her illness get her down. The family were told the heartbreaking news a few years ago that there is no further treatment available for her. With the help of When you wish upon a star they have given the family some extra special memories with their daughter. Jumping out of a plane is something I am personally not looking forward to, but if it means helping other families who sadly find themselves in this nightmare situation of loosing a loved one too soon then I will be happy to do this to raise the money....so come on get donating and make a difference to a child and their families.
