Alastair has been a civil servant for nearly 40 years and in October, he will be retiring. Alastair has no desire for a retirement gift, but recognises that colleagues might have wished to contribute to a collection. So instead he has asked for this JustGiving page to be set up so that colleagues can make a donation to the Charity for Civil servants, formerly the Civil Bervice benevolent Fund, which provides support and advice to current, former and retired civil servants.
