Story

With so many requests to support worthy charitable causes I really do appreciate you supporting my efforts to raise £4000 in support of the Institute of Liver Studies at Kings College Hospital. Believe me when I say that every donation will help motivate me to keep up the relentless training regime through the dark cold and wet winter as well as every one of the 1000 miles+ to get to Barcelona from London.

I will be raising money for the European Centre of Excellence at the Institute of Liver

Studies, King’s College Hospital to help raise awareness of liver disease and provide funding for

vital research and clinical trials into areas such as the treatment of liver failure, cancer and liver

transplantation. It will also help to fund tests for developing better personalised treatment of liver

disease and identifying new ‘biomarkers’ which can lead to a faster diagnosis of liver cancer and

better management of transplanted patients.
