Story
Butterwick Hospice is a beautiful and supportive environment
for people to feel safe, cared for and made as comfortable as possible in the
most challenging of times.
Butterwick Day Services offer a full range of in-house
services, although some people prefer to make an out-patient appointment and arrive
to access just one specific service such as an aromatherapy massage. All
services are provided free of charge to anyone who has been accepted for care
from the Hospice.
Patients can spend a day or longer with the most amazing
care and understanding from dedicated staff and volunteers whose vocation is
not just help not only the patients but the families and friends also.
Fears and anxiousness can be alleviated in an informal
social environment where new friends can be made and advice in many areas for
patients and loved ones.
Butterwick also provides complementary therapies delivered
by qualified and experienced practitioners.
None of this would be possible without donations from
charities and members of the public, any kind of donation is gratefully
received large or small.
Christine Gray, a loving Wife, Mother, and daughter
took advantage of Butterwick facilities and it created such a lasting
impression on us all.
As a result, we wanted to set up a Just Giving Page.
Christine asked for donations to go to the Hospice rather than flowers to help
Butterwick continues its marvelous work within the community.
