Thalasseamia is a genetic blood disorder which requires blood transfusions. The most difficult part is getting a viable vein to complete the blood transfusions. The airglove can help the doctor/nurse identify the most appropriate vein first time and avoid the trauma reducing the psychological damage the procedure causes.

The airglove won’t just help Thalassaemia patients but for any child, teenager or adult who needs a cannula. How it works is simple, the patient is provided with a disposable plastic sleeve glove, which is connected to a machine using hot air to warm the arm therefore helping the vein to pop up.
