in Feb,2023, My dear friends and colleagues joined hands with me to raise awareness and funds in memory of my son Aiden, who unfortunately died from Sudden cardiac arrest.

Aiden, like many of the other babies, was a healthy baby boy, with no reason for us or his pediatrician to doubt that he had ARVC, a rare kind of cardiomyopathy. In ARVC, fatty fibrous tissue replaces normal heart muscle, this interrupts normal electrical signals in the heart and may cause irregular and potentially deadly heart rhythms.

I'm so honored to share that the response to the fundraiser campaign was incredible and we surpassed our initial $2000 goal and, thanks to MonoSol matching the donation, we raised a total of $7,404 (370% of our target).

The love that people have shown to Aiden has moved and humbled me greatly.

Pediatric cardiomyopathy is a chronic and potentially fatal heart disease that affects how the heart pumps blood throughout the body. Many people are unaware that it is a leading cause of heart transplants and sudden cardiac arrest in children. Cardiomyopathy is a rare and often progressive heart condition in children. Many children go undetected because their symptoms are minimal or nonexistent.
