We have been working close to the Afghanistan border now for more than one year. It’s not something we talk about much for obvious reasons, but for the last couple of years we have been supporting several girls who had fled the Taliban.

Now with all the unrest in Afghanistan, One By One has been able to help several families who have also fled. We are helping with immediate needs, collating the correct documentation for them as well as food and shelter. This isn’t part of our normal work and isn’t included in our regular budgets. But we couldn’t stand by and do nothing. We have stepped out in faith and said we will help these eight Christians who have had to leave everything they had and are now in a foreign land.
