Last year we ran a successful Movember campaign and for the whole month had a great deal of activities for the staff and students to be involved in. This year we feel it can be even bigger, in spite of the restrictions in place. It is more important than ever to focus in on the fact that throughout lockdown 'Exercise was the only thing left.' It was the only thing we were sanctioned by the government to be allowed to do. This is because it is vital for our mental health. We have already seen the release and the relief from the students to be able to get back to their sports and teams and all the social and emotional connections and joy that it brings. We feel that in a wider sense across the whole school itself, it is just great to be back. With this in mind this years Movember will be shaped to create more spirit in the High School by piloting a house system whilst focusing more upon the link between physical and mental health.
