On January 8th I'll have the privilege of turning 50 years old! I've decided to dedicate my birthday to the amazing friends I've made at Thistle Farms, a nonprofit social enterprise, based in Nashville, TN.

Thistle Farms’ mission is to help women survivors of trafficking, prostitution, and addiction recover and heal by providing them a safe place to live, meaningful employment, and a lifelong sisterhood of support.

As a regular volunteer still involved at Thistle Farms, I can tell you their belief that "Love Heals Every Body," isn't just sentiment but practical love in action.
