Dear friends, family and colleagues,

In just under 3 weeks, I will be cycling from London to Paris over the course of 3 days in aid of Children in Crisis. The journey is around 300 km long spread over 3 days and with some luck the weather will be sunny! We set off on the 11th June.

This is such a good cause and thank you so much for taking the time to visit this page.

Children in Crisis exists to improve the lives of children around the world affected by conflict, deprivation, poverty or other hidden crises, by working in partnership with local communities to provide education, healthcare and protection.  They have projects in Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, China, Ukraine as well as here in the UK.

As for the cycling part, I have bought my bike, it’s called Dolce! My helmet and all other bright gear have been purchased and training is well under way. I can also promise that I will not be taking
the Eurostar or any other shortcuts (there is a ferry that takes us across the Channel however...)

I would be incredibly grateful for any support you can give to Children in Crisis. We have recently found out that collectively we are close to raising enough money to build a school in Africa so any amount you give will really help!
