Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Our beloved son Angus was diagnosed with brain cancer back in 2013, when he was just 6 years old. He had major surgery and then proton therapy. He was supported by the CLIC nurses and social workers. As the next 6 years moved on, he lived a full and beautiful life. Sadly last year, we found out that his cancer had returned, and that he was ultimately going to be taken from us. He fought the cancer with all he had, with a big smile and a ready chuckle. He never once complained, or sunk into sadness. CLIC were with us every step of his journey , and remain with us to support the family. Angus passed away quietly aged 14 years old with his family around him, at home on 28.6.20.
On Saturday August 1st - Angus's Dad Alistair, John Sutherland and hopefully as many other supporters as possible will set off on a 210mile walk from Dean Close School to Deer Park in Pembrokeshire, which looks out over Skomer Island, which was Angus's favourite view, via the Forest of Dean, and Brecon Beacons.
