People told me for years before Lucas that the moment they arrive your life will change forever, I never took them seriously until that very moment xxx

A few months ago I made a decision (and kept it to myself) to try and do something to raise money for people that are in a situation I never hope to find myself in, as a father of an 8 month old beautiful and so amazing son I honestly cant imagine the pain a parent must go through seeing their child suffer the pain of any illness let alone terminal illness. While I know what I'm doing is hardly crossing the Antarctic it's the first step on a journey of fundraising I've dreamt of for a long time. sadly being self employed in the parcel trade it's hard to do more but this is a good place to start. The way I see it is I have that many friends on facebook and if I badger you all enough for 50p then I should come close to my target and hopefully be able to make hit the target I've set x 

I thought about doing some trek or big endurance thing but they would be over in a day or two and I'd most likely fail being the unfit specimen I am nowadays so I've decided to do the one thing the wife knows will hurt me the most and lay off the booze for 3 months x to put it in context it's pretty much like game of thrones when I get home theres always a glass of red kicking around somewhere 😍😂 

But in all honesty for the last 20 something years I've made resolutions as we all have and failed by midday the next day on most of them so knowing that I'm raising money for sick children and having had so many emails of support and thanks from REACT I'm in too deep to even think about changing my mind! 

Finally I just want to say thanks for reading my page and if you can spare even just a pound I'll be eternally grateful everything goes live the 1st of January so enjoy the peace until then because the fundraising train is being boarded!! Toot toot!!! ❤❤❤
