Back in 2004 after finishing the London marathon I made a pact with the what was then a six year old Lauren that "one day" we would run the marathon together :).   18 Years later, and some dodgy knees the day has finally come.  On the 2nd of October we will be running the 2022 London Marathon.  I will be running on behalf the Oxford Samaritans.   

The Samaritans mission is simple, to provide emotional support to anyone struggling to cope 24/7.   The Samaritans are there for everybody in their most desperate of times.  Always there to listen in a non-judgmental way, helping to explore feelings to alleviate distress while respecting confidentiality.  The majority of  people will never feel the need to call,  but it is very reassuring to know for anyone that does, human contact with empathy and undivided attention is only a call away - 116 123.
