Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you know last December my wife (Emma) had a brain haemorrhage (stroke) which was a result of a bleed from a cavernoma in her brain.  The stroke caused Emma's face to droop at the mouth and her speech to become slurred.  These symptoms have improved but unfortunately she still has headaches daily and suffers from fatigue.  She is under the care of Addenbrookes and we await further advice on recovery/potential surgery.

Throughout Emma's stroke recovery the Cavernoma Alliance UK has provide amazing support from, information, support groups and webinars.  This condition isn't well understood and the information available is very limited, so to have this charity it has been a massive help.

Around 1/600 people have cavernomas in the brain or spine but only 1/400,000 people have a bleed causing a stroke or other neurological issues.
