We promote research into brain tumours to close the funding gap for brain tumours

Story

Thank you for visiting my page.

I decided in August 2018 that I wanted to grow my hair so I could get it cut off to help make wigs for people who have lost their hair to cancer. I thought that I could ask for sponsorship to raise money for The Brain Tumour Research Campaign.

During the summer in 2018 both my Granny and my Uncle Dom died from cancer. My Aunt Hattie, his wife, set up The Dom Magee Memorial Fund to raise money for research into his type of rare cancer.  There is a huge imbalance between the percentage of people who die from rare forms of cancer and the amount of funding that goes into researching them. I want to help her reach her target of £250k by 2022.
