Story
All funds will go directly to Area 61 Bristol Unit
I appreciate that for some of you this may be the first time you have heard the sad news. Abbie was rediagnosed with cancer four weeks ago and the doctor's have since given her the devastating news that there is nothing more they can do.
In typical Abbie style, when asked what she wanted to do, the first thing that came to mind was a fundraising event for the ward that have been looking after her. So that's what we are going to do!! On Saturday we are going to have a charity rugby match between the boys and girls, followed by a hog roast and then a party and raffle/auction in the evening.
Entry will be £10 and this will get you a draw into the raffle.
Rugby kick off will be 4pm
For any businesses that want to sponsor the day and put a board up please message me (Porge) and we can arrange it.
Also, if anyone can get hold of any raffle prizes for the draw that would be amazing!
Please please please bring as many people down as possible and invite them to this event so we will get an idea of numbers for the food and drink.
I'm sure you can appreciate how difficult this is for Abbie and her family so please may we ask that they don't get bombarded with messages. Showing your face on Saturday will mean the world to all of them.
Come on you sexy lot let's see how much money we can raise and show Abbie how much we all love her!
