Hi and thank you for visiting my page. 

I am Abbey and this page is dedicated in memory of my daughter Isla Silvester who was born sleeping back in April 2016.

7th April 2016 my life changed forever, I was a mummy but my baby girl was too live in my heart and not come home with me and daddy. This is a feeling that no parent should have to face. In the days that followed the 7th April we were able to create such precious memories and moments that I treasure and hold so close none of this would have been possible without the use of a cuddle cot. A cuddle cot is a cot that is specifically designed for parents to spend extra time with their babies that are born sleeping. 

I am running the Bristol 10k to raise the money to donate a cuddle cot to the local hospital I gave birth to in memory of Isla.  This would be an incredible achievement and an honour to know my baby girl has made a difference during someone’s darkest and upsetting time and give them that time to create memories to last a lifetime.

Cots for Tots is also the hospital charity that raises money for the neonatal intensive care unit and somewhere where both Alfie & Mollie (my 2 children who live at home) spent a length of time. This charity is incredible and without it who knows what my life would look like. 

Any donations will be wholeheartedly appreciated, big or small it doesn’t matter.. 

Let’s be honest the smallest of feet certainly have left the biggest of footprints in my heart. We’re doing this for you Isla. I am so very proud you chose me to be your mummy, I just hope I make you proud.  I love you Isla 💗 👣 

Race day is Sunday 14th May! Would be amazing if any of you would like to come watch support and cheer me on!
