Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Last year a beautiful young man, our dear friends’ son, called Elias Taylor lost his fight against acute lymphocytic leukaemia (ALL) at the age of 22. He was diagnosed at the age of 16. He managed to beat his cancer three times thanks to the state of the art centre at University College Hospital.

In a few years time research will allow all patients with ALL to beat this illness once and for all. This was not to be the case for Eli   The Abadi’s are asking for your help to raise funds for this research to make dying of leukaemia a thing of the past.

Carol and Dennis will be cycling 200miles from Paris to London in 3 days in July to raise funds for this vital research in memory of Eli.

The money will go into the UCLH Haematology Research fund, but will be ring-fenced for this research project
