• Entertainment and free time: entertainment activities are coordinated with other local institutions.
• Sports: through the club on the campus, teams are made up to compete with other clubs in Gaza in many sports disciplines.
• Diet and health: food, laundry, healthcare and other basic services are offered within the Institute.
How you can help
Funds for development projects are welcome, as it is support for the continuation of the services offered to the widows and orphans to develop their self-esteem and self-confidence: these services
are not available elsewhere. Funds will be used mainly to support the women and children economically, in addition to connecting the Institute to specialised local and international networks. Continuity in the services and programmes is fundamental. Every form of support is therefore invaluable.
Donate your Nafl Sadaqah and Lillah funds to help build the Centre. Total cost to build the centre is £80,000.
Name of Centre
The Prophet (SAW) had four daughters all were born to his first wife Hazrat Khadeejah RA. The oldest of his daughters was Hazrat Zainab RA and the youngest of his daughters was Hazrat Faatimah
RA. Hazrat Ruqayyah RA and Hazrat Ummu Kulthoom RA were second and third oldest, respectively. All died within his lifetime, expect for Hazrat Faatimah RA who died 6 months after his death.
Hazrat Zainab (RA) was born ten years before the Prophethood, when the beloved Prophet (SAW) was 30 years old. The name Zainab is a combination of two different words; ‘Zain’ which means
‘ornament’, and ‘Ab,’ which means ‘father;’ thus her name means ‘the ornament or the jewel of her father.’
The life of Hazrat Zainab (RA) is a true example of love, strong faith and patience. Her sacrifice, devotion and patience will forever serve as an inspiration for humanity. ALMF would like to call the
orphans and widows centre after Hazrat Zainab RA, a women of inspiration and patience.
