My name is Alex Ivanovski and I am currently ranked a Life Scout with Boy Scout Troop 422 in Fort Mill SC.  I have been in boy scouts since the first grade where I grew up in New Jersey.  I continued in Scouts when we moved to Dublin OH for a short time, and have really enjoyed my time here in Fort Mill with Troop 422 since the 4th grade. Through all this time, I always knew I wanted to make it to Eagle Scout and that time is finally here!  My goal is to raise as many donations as I can, so I can build some picnic tables for the Anne Springs Greenway here in Fort Mill.  We love the greenway! We take our dog Max who was supposed to be a foster but we adopted him after four days!  He looks forward to those great long walks, so now he loves it too!

Being involved in Scouts has been a great activity for me over the years.  I have had so many opportunities to get outside, camp, be with friends, and serve my community in many ways.  My goal is to raise money this Spring for my Eagle Project in hopes to start it before I start high school in the Fall, where I will also be joining the ROTC.

I dream of having a career as a pilot, and have had the opportunity to fly a few times through a flight training program nearby. One day, my office will be the friendly skies!

 For years, scouts have enjoyed group outdoor activities on the Greenway. It has been the meeting site for various groups and a popular choice for earning service hours for rank advancement or completing badges through environmental and educational opportunities. Through our projects, scouts have also provided the Greenway with items, structures that have increased program capacity and enhanced visitor experiences. These have included everything from gardens, benches and equestrian shelters to rock throwing ranges and outdoor classroom improvements. As I start my project, I want to thank you in joining me in offering something new to the Greenway too!
