Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit Gerry's JustGiving page.
Gerry was a true Yorkshire gentleman, born in Leeds in 1930 and died on 30 August 2015.
Gerry will always be remembered for being such a sociable, outgoing and sporting individual who loved spending time with his friends and family. The latter part of his life was seriously impacted by Alzheimer's which robbed him of his independence and his ability to live life to the full. It was heartbreaking for all to see how such an inspirational and strong individual changed beyond recognition.
In honour of Gerry and to celebrate his life we want to do everything we can to raise money to fund more research into Alzheimer's and hopefully spare others from this dreadful disease.
Please feel free to give as much or as little as you are able. Every penny helps to find a cure for Alzheimer's.
