AC Electrical's Walking up Snowdon

Recently a local man I know lost his life to Cancer, leaving his wife and children behind. He was well known within my circle of friends and being a similar age to him, I was deeply saddened to learn his illness was terminal and would eventually take his life, which within a few short months it did, and his children will now have to grow up without their father in their lives. I cant begin to imagine how a child comes to terms with this, and this charity helps those families deal with the grief of losing a parent.
This charity also supports parents and siblings or anyone grieving who has lost a member of their family.
Also a friend I have known since my school years lost her young daughter to cancer last year. Emily was just 14 years old. This news hit myself and my wife hard, we both knew her mum Julie, and her daughter attended the same school as our sons. As a bereaved parent, the sense of carrying on with life, without their child must be unbearable, incredibly hard, and sometimes impossible. Without support from these charities, a future can seem impossible for a grieving parent. Once upon a smile has been set up for this very reason and we want to raise awareness and support all their hard work and carry on helping families in the future.
