Story
On the 11th September 2019 we gave birth to our daughter Poppy at 22 weeks and 5 days. Due to complications during pregnancy, my waters broke prematurely and there was no more medically that could be done to help me and Poppy. During our time in treliske, we were given access to a beautiful private suite, the daisy suite, for us to use during and after birth, that was completely separate to the maternity unit and had its own entrance and exit. The room and memory garden, behind the maternity unit, are maintained by Ella's Memory, a charity founded by parents after the loss of their little girl, to help other people like us, with support, after care, and a memory tree that provides families with personalised leaf. I am proposing to grow my hair, until Poppy's first birthday, and then I shall be cutting it all off, and donating it to the little princess trust to be made into a wig (or 2). If you would like to sponsor me for doing this, any donations would be greatly recieved on behalf of Ella's Memory, as a way of giving thanks for what they have done for us, and so many others. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
