No child can learn when it is starving. Many people living in Kolkata's slums have lost the means to earn a living because of the Covid 19 lock-downs.  In consequence they are unable to feed their families adequately, with a real danger that many children will suffer from malnutrition.  CRS intends to provide a nutritional meal each day to children in the project areas which it supports.  It is hoped to reach 1,000 children in 14 centres.  The budgeted annual cost is £14,500
